The retreat located in Nosara in the province of Guanacaste, one of the 5 designated blue zones of the world, the Blues Zones are defined as areas where people live the longest due to the quality of life. Nosara is an energetic vortex that attracts people from around the world to a healthy living lifestyle, yoga, surfing and much more. Our retreat facility is a 10 min drive (30 min walk) from Guiones and Playa Pelada, close enough to enjoy a day at the beach or a night in town but far enough from the crowd, noise and dust of the town. We are in the hills of Nosara overseeing the Ocean, mountains and jungle views.Located in the energetic vortex of a Blue Zone, Tierra Encantada oversees the ocean and jungles from the hills of Nosara. We suggest flying into Liberia (Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport). We are about 2 to 2.5 hours drive.
Retreat Includes :
- 7 nights of accommodation in our beautifully designed eco casitas and luxury glamping tents. All rooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning (except for Glamping tents) large windows and doors and plenty of overhead ventilation for optimal airflow, mosquito nets and oscillating floor fans (if needed) for complete comfort. Each room has a private bath with a large, unique, indoor/outdoor, hot water shower, and patios & decks that command stellar views of the ocean, mountains, and Rio Montana
- 3 High Vibration & delicious handmade daily meals ~we do our best to provide local, organic when possible
- Refreshing juices, smoothies, coconut water, and organic teas
- Access to resort amenities, encompassing the saltwater pool area, gym, restaurant, and ceremonial tipi
- Access to the Yoga Shala All the necessary equipment for Yoga included: mats, blocks, straps and bolsters as well as back chairs and cushions for meditations, we have 4 large ceiling fans and rolling shades to make the space comfortable and usable even on windy or rainy days.

Getting There:
Best option is flying into Liberia (LIR) arriving mid day. I will organize the 2hr shuttle to retreat. Shuttle will be scheduled for Jan 11th 2 p.m, departure shuttle will be Jan 18th at 11 a.m
* You can also fly to San Jose (SJO) but you will be responsible to fly to LIR or the smaller Nosara airport via FlySansa.com. If not, it’s a 5 hour drive from SJO you are responsible for booking.

For your convenience, 2 of our Casitas can be configured with either one king or four single beds, accommodating your group’s unique needs. This was our first casita and was inspired by Balinese construction, it is small but cosy and beautiful, made entirely of several type of Costa Rican native woods, all the trees used for this house were from fallen trees and recycled wood. Facing the Ocean with a partial Ocean View as there are trees in front blocking the view and we do not like to cut trees.

Glampling Tents {One Left}

Nature surrounds each tent and as the morning bird song gently fills the air.

They are high end safari type tents, with approximately 180 Sqft, they are spacious with a teak hardwood floor and real ergonomic beds, lighting and fans.
Bathrooms are shared and outside the tent. Covered with a Bamboo and palm roof structure to protect from the sun and rain. While the tents do not have kitchenette, we do have a fully equipped commercial kitchen for all of our guests to use.

*depending on the day we will be either hiking, heading to the beach or local market, surf (most activities in morning out of the heat of the day)
