Surrounded by lush forests, crystal-clear rivers, and majestic mountains, it offers a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts with activities such as hiking, fishing, and paragliding. The town is famous for its vibrant artisan market, where visitors can explore a variety of handmade crafts, organic produce, and local delicacies. Known for its strong commitment to sustainability and alternative lifestyles, El Bolsón attracts a diverse community of artists, musicians, and nature lovers. With its relaxed vibe, breathtaking scenery, and rich cultural offerings, El Bolsón is a perfect destination for those seeking both adventure and tranquility in a unique and picturesque setting.
When people think of off the beaten path, stunning, wild Patagonia – this is in El Bolson.
After the noise and bustle of the world, let some of the earth’s most pristine nature care for you, quiet your mind, & mend your body in this experiential trip of a lifetime.
There is something extra magical about being so immersed in nature. And travel paired with hiking, yoga, meditation, food, no planing necessary, and all done out in Mother Nature, really creates the space for a shift to happen in peoples lives. I wanted to offer an experience that starts in Patagonia but really never ends.
Our lodge for the week, is located within the Río Azul Natural Protected Area 15 kilometers from El Bolsón, Argentina. Our property is situated at the confluence of the Río Blanco and Río Azul rivers, right at the trailhead for many of hikes in this area, including the famous Cajón del Azul. This location offers truly unparalleled access to the forests, mountains and rivers that have made this corner of Patagonia such a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts in recent years.
The lodge was inspired by Andean mountain huts and thoughtfully designed to withstand the elements of life off-the-grid in Patagonia. Inside you’ll find a cozy living area around the stone fireplace as well as a fully equipped kitchen and dining room on the main level. All guest rooms are located upstairs, along with a comfortable lounge area, reading nook and access to an outdoor balcony.
A true organic Patagonian experience brining you peace, privacy, and deep connection with nature. Our mountain lodge for the week offers a unique, authentic, and transformative environment—ideal for purposeful retreats and unforgettable experiences.
Awaken each morning with a gentle Yoga flow, designed to greet the day and prepare your body. A delicious breakfast follows, fueling you for a day of captivating excursions from our lodge – choose from an array of incredible adventures. After a fulfilling day exploring the outdoors (with a packed lunch), return to the comforting embrace of our cozy lodge, where satisfaction awaits. Unwind completely with a choice of sauna, hot tub, or cold plunge, followed by a deeply restorative Yoga practice and a gourmet dinner prepared by our in house chef.

The lodge was constructed using local materials, including lumber sawn on-site and hay bales for insulation. Firewood is utilized for both space heating and hot water and power is derived from an on-site hydroelectric turbine when the stream level permits. Our extensive biointensive gardens provide fresh produce throughout the season, and dairy, meat and other food products are purchased from neighboring farms whenever possible.
The Lodge is like a big housewhere the main floor is a huge living room, fire place and the first floor has library, deck and rooms to share. Total baths to share is 6.
