It is month eight of having Andrea Robertson as my personal trainer and the improvements to my fitness level and appearance in such a short period of time are impressive.I started training with Andrea when I realized that my body had reached a plateau and I was no longer making any progress. She immediately set me up with a routine that was specifically catered to my abilities and my goals (no cookie cutter programs here folks!). Workouts change weekly with Andrea – this means that I never get bored and neither do my muscles. However, Andrea also goes above and beyond the regular workout by providing feedback as needed via email and by helping me plan a balanced workout schedule which includes yoga, cardio and weights. People who see me at the gym often comment on how impressed they are with the speed at which I have improved, however, what I have recently come to realize is that without Andrea I wouldn’t have progressed from my plateaued state at all. This is due to the best reason for training with Andrea: she motivates me. She motivates me to the point that I always want to do more than the weekly requirement, to the point that I find myself practicing new exercise moves during my down time, and to the point that I actually look forward to exercising. I can’t wait to see the results I’ll have after the next eight months of training with Andrea.
